ever notice how at school they'll teach you about the civil rights movement right up to MLK's assassination and then just stop the year before the formation of the Black Panther Party? 
@scottishwobbly I mean i went to a low key socialist elementary, they straight up taught us about Malcolm X and how him and King were both killed, but they still didn't talk about black power
