No matter where we live, working people have the same enemy: a ruling class that starves, abuses, exploits, neglects us and sends us to die in their ridiculous wars that have nothing to do with us.
I have more in common with any given clock-punching Iranian than I do with the bloodless creeps who run our foreign policy death cult. They're not my "team."
Caption reads: The world is not divided into east and west. You are American, I am Iranian. We don't know each other, but we speak and can understand one another perfectly.
The difference between you and your government is much different than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much more than the difference between you and me.
And our governments are quite the same.

@interneteh I don't disagree with the sentiment but this sort of reteric has been the mantra of many communist regimes that have caused mass suffering to their people. How about something like "humans are naturally good and if they make an effort to talk to each other they'll usually work things out over a nice meal and drink."
@georgem I'm not abandoning what I know to be true because someone else I might not agree with said it too.
@georgem lol yeah no propaganda there!
Not all communists are evil. But those who sincerely work for the people are the target for personal attacks and have to face public humiliation.
Extreme right leaders like Trump and Modi have silenced the opinions of the suffering and faced protest with a "don't destroy peace" emotional speech.
