@polychrome yeah I like old hardware too... I just thought it was doing a lot of bad ideological work for me to think of a flagship device released less than 10 years ago as "old hardware".

% agree that security isn't motivating users – but that wouldn't be a problem if there were regulations or even industry standards which made phone manufacturers take it more seriously.
