friend is playing minecraft and now i want to play minecraft. time to figure out how to get it running on NetBSD (i've seen a couple ways from the olden days).
apparently modern minecraft doesn't like running on netbsd; looks like a vm is the go-to way these days. i'm pretty alright with that tho; i'll just keep this system to games already in pkgsrc and use my other half-built pc for the more stubborn/proprietary games, probably with gentoo or nixos or something since windows is becoming increasingly unnecessary for games.
