Someone parsed 2000 books from various genres and did a gender analysis on how people were described in them: This is what they found: pudding.cool/2020/07/gendered-

This is Ursula Le Guin's writing desk at her home in Berkeley, CA.
These pictures have emerged as the house is for sale in a real estate listing.

So what do folks do nowadays to purge Google's Android from their phones? Is there an active open source fork with decent project governance that works with US mobile network operators, or do Google/Apple collude with network operators to prevent such a thing from being viable?

Why we're losing? Because we have a rigid and centralised WWW with central points of failure and billionaire owners of our data stored in nebulously obfuscated infrastructure. Other guys have no such absurd constraints. Capitalism is tying our hands.

Hello! I'm new to this platform so I hope I don't disappoint.

I'm a leftist vegan who lives in the forest and rescues chickens. After Facebook decided to shut down many anarchist accounts I knew it was the last straw and I had to get away from that hellsite so here I am.

I'm interested in learning more about anarchism and meeting other vegan anarchists. I'm currently working on a few projects in the fields of animal rights, anti-vivisection and ethics and hope to connect with others here on those subjects too.
