It’s spring and that means foraging. After the obligatory wild garlic now it’s time for dandelion stuff. I’m about to ferment myself some soda.

Collect four handful of dandelion heads, cut off the petals, add 80g sugar and pour over 1.5l of boiling water. When cooled down add a starter of your liking. A ginger bug works great. I’m going to use leftover kombucha which developed some good yeast on the ground.

Guide to Photographing Mushrooms for Identification

If you're interested in improving your mushroom identification practice, you might find this short piece useful.

I've attempted to delineate the various angles and features which allow for a comprehensive data-set to be created for the purposes of identification. This includes both morphological and ecological considerations.

I'm happy to receive any feedback or ideas for improvement!

New DIY project finished! I'm quite proud of this one.

For a while we've needed some shelf space in the bathroom. Last week I finally found the motivation to take apart a pallet I found in the street and design a shelf using the planks I salvaged.

It took forever to sand and cut everything to size using hand tools (I used the drill to drill out the pallet's nail heads, but that's pretty much it)

I'm very happy of how it turned out *_*

The more I learn about alternative city models, ecology and anarchy, the more I want to learn about it all.
And the less I feel good in my job (simple, not really useless but low range). I love the tasks but I lost the meaning...

It's really nice that probably every language has a word for dance, i.e., the idea of moving beautifully.
