@opensourcegardens @botaflo @plants @avanc @c0c0bird iNaturalist is based mostly (?) on open source code. Almost everything on their github has MIT license.

The #iNaturalist app indeed should be fully open source under MIT license according to the repo on github and it is also mentioned on several places on the website. Weird however, this is not reflected on the google play site. Also sad to not see it packaged for @fdroidorg@mastodon.technology yet.
Anyway we will try it out and report : )
@opensourcegardens @foxgloved @plants @fdroidorg I didn't know #iNaturalist was #FOSS either. I hear good things about it from multiple sources, and I would try it if it showed up on #FDroid. You know, in case anyone is thinking about making that happen.
