There is still a lot of good stuff made. It's harder to find these days, and most of it is from Germany.

Absolutely. I did a search for “cyberpunk” on Bandcamp and that alone turned me on to a couple dozen new bands making good hard industrial-style music. One of my favorites being “Victor Love” who I think ended up collaborating with KMFDM.
It’s good stuff, but some of it feels like simulacra, if you know what I mean.
