Y'all need to see what my garden did in a week
First off, blackberry season is here. So I'm putting the kids to work on that. They will be paid in cobbler.
And I know this doesn't look like much, but there used to be potato plants here, which means there are potatoes down there that I need to lift up.
My herb garden, which has become the tomato garden, is a Where's Waldo of green tomatoes, but I have yet to see a single red one.
This is weird. I had a dahlia that I didn't think would live, so I planted bleeding hearts in it's place. Now the dahlias are back
My little hardy kiwi is sending up its first vine. I'm going to have to train it up a string or something
I'm excited at how much my cucumber bush has taken off. It has a ton of flowers and a baby or two
And finally, a baby artichoke. All this stuff changed in just a few days. I'm so proud of my lil guys loving the summer heat
@interneteh dahlais can be some tough ol' tubers. I had to yank a hydrangea a housemate had put in because the dahlia she thought was a goner came back with more vigor.
@raye I didn't know they were tuber based. That makes sense
@indie I see that. At least it's native
