I echo Matt! Cover crops during the growing season mean weed suppression and building soil any time of year is great!
Trick with sorghum is that it’ll be hard to keep it in check if you want to interplant in orbit if you just want to build your soil, it’ll be great!

- @derek I didn't know that C4 grasses (or monokotyledons at all) fix nitrogen, I had to look it up. (And wikipedia doesn't know either, so I don't have to feel embarassed).
