@absolutus@qoto.org Fun fact: Matt Bellamy from Muse had a custom guitar made which included a proximity controller for its built in effects – which worked in essentially the same way as a theremin.

Matt Bellamy's custom guitar, played frequently during the Origin of Symmetry tour and heard in songs like Plug In Baby. A copper panel on the front of the guitar adjusts the guitar's effects – it's like a hybrid between a wah-wah pedal and a theremin.
