Certainly looks like chanterelles. Though we do not have the red cinnabar ones near us. Look for the false gills underneath, which will rub off if you run a fingertip over them. They also run down the stem of the mushroom, which you can see in your picture.
Not sure what else is in your area, but cannot think of much to confuse with that one.
