Currently wondering if it would be possible to convince someone to pay me to put together resources on collective living.
I would really love to gather a bunch of resources and stories from a variety of collective homes on both the larger goals and the mundane details. The larger objective would be to create resources that can make starting and running a collective home easier.
I would really love to be able to be under someone's wing who has more experience with housing policy.
Basically, I just want to spend a bunch of time reading/thinking/writing/talking about the collective living and maybe also find a way to pay rent while doing that.

PS. if anyone does know anything about how something like this might be possible, I would genuinely like to know.
It *feels* like something that should be possible for someone to do.
I'm guessing it would have to be done through an academic institution or perhaps through a non-profit focused on housing advocacy or such. And the person doing it would need some letters/degrees after their name.

This isn't an answer to the question of how to get paid to develop resources on collective living, but NPR recently did a piece on communal living (#^https://www.npr.org/2024/05/01/1248216390/what-is-communal-living-and-is-it-right-for-me), which cites Gillian Morris's co-blog (#^https://supernuclear.substack.com/p/the-supernuclear-directory-9a9078a07258), which seems to be developing similar resources to what you have in mind.

Possibly a place to look for ideas and/or people to connect with?

@dynamic ooh! This is interesting! Just started poking around but it's looking cool
