- I'm not sure how often I'll post on this instance...I'll probably use it mostly to lurk, but I figured I'd sign up because I'm interested in and @cocoron is a cool person.

In terms of being solarpunk in real life, I try to repair instead of replace, grow a portion of my own food and think of subtle ways to turn my normie friends and neighbours into social anarchists in practice, if not in name.

I also write stuff, and am working on ideas for some solarpunk fiction.

Also, I keep planning on moving my money from a normal bank to a (I'm kinda having trouble deciding on which of the two options in my area is best). I don't think co-ops are necessarily , but I think worker/member-owned businesses are a good start toward an future. Definitely not a perfect solution, but it's a reformist step on the path to more radical changes.

@solarpunk co-ops and credit unions are probably not the end goal, but they're great anyway imo

@solarpunk i moved to a credit union so many years ago and it feels so much cleaner energetically. happiest when i'm #moneyless but like you said... every step in the right direction is a good step. :thinkerguns:
