New USDA hardiness zone maps just dropped, now based on data from 1990 - 2020. This country is definitely getting hotter...

@planty @akanumalla I grew up in Salt Lake and remember the late 70s through the 80s. It got down at least a few degrees below zero (F) pretty much every year, below -10 a few times. Zone 6b for sure, possibly 6a in the 70s (a cold decade there, judging from the records).
This map? 7b. Yikes.
I hope someone updates a map like this showing change..

@planty Thx! I viewed the website ahout an hour ago, and all was well. Now when I try to use the link, I get this 502 Bad Gateway error. Anyone else having this problem? Thx :)

@planty The new Hardiness zone map now has the line between 6b and 7a going RIGHT THROUGH MY GARDEN! I've been moved about ¼ mile
