You should checkout Gitea. It's a git* alternative that isn't run by a shady corporation. I'm liking it a lot and my co-op may launch a public instance soon.

It's written in Go and uses only 110MB of RAM when idle.

I'm maybe interested in checking out Drone for CI also.

@kawaiipunk I switched to both of these a little bit ago, and I really like them. Drone is very, very fast, and Gitea is clean and straightforward.

My biggest complaint is that I have to learn Go to hack on them and add some functionality πŸ˜‚
