Why does this concept freak me out so much when everyone else is like "I mean yeah, that's a normal thing" o.o

@hazelnot When in-ear earbuds became a thing initially, I remember people being pretty divided about whether it was pleasant or unsettling, for what it's worth. Especially because of the air pressure thing.

@joepie91 yeahhh I wore them "properly" once as a kid (15+ years ago I think) and I thought my eardrums would explode if I don't take them out
