@schratze @Chickerino In Windows it's always been just, plug the thing in and it auto-detects and installs everything

On Linux I've spent hours trying to get a single printer to be recognized and usable

@hazelnot @schratze ironically enough ive had the opposite experience, printers worked on linux out of the box without any installation required, while on windows you occasionally have to install some wack driver
