I have created the logical conclusion of this meme

@charlotte Thank you, getting this running in a VM was pain and it took me like two days for this one meme lmfao

@hazelnot wait this is a real program i can download?

@mjdxp It's Windows XP, with Tango Patcher for the Tango icons and stuff, a (not super accurate tbh) Gnome theme, and the Activate Linux window was just the Activate Windows one but I edited it in GIMP to be brown and have different text and Tux

The hard part was sending files over to a KVM Windows XP VM, since I could't figure out a way to set up shared folders with virt-manager, and by default it used IE which doesn't work with modern websites. Ended up making ISOs with SP2 and SP3 and a bunch of other programs so I could install a more modern browser.

@hazelnot fuck, i thought the torrent i downloaded was cracked 🥺

@hazelnot I think the best part of this might be the MSN Messenger logo...such memories...

@hazelnot lmaoo this is windows XP with a theme? I never would have guessed

@schratze Windows XP theme + me editing the Activate Windows dialog in GIMP

@hazelnot I can star a post only so many times this is amazing :pikaAngryCry:

@katnjiapus lmfao thank you, I made it months ago but @schratze reminded me of it so I boosted my own post to capitalize on their post :^)
