At Doorways, we are restoring 65 acres of corn fields and gravel mines as a chestnut #silvopasture farm, and working to enhance the health and diversity of adjacent woods and waterways. We plan to trial a number of interplanting strategies, develop a program to verify the atmospheric carbon sequestered by our agricultural systems, and welcome partner farmers to manage complementary systems that integrate with the #chestnut alleys.
