goo.glGender Identity, Gender Expression, and Gender DysphoriaAnyone is welcome and encouraged to fill out this survey, not just transgender people. Many of the questions are transgender-focused, but a sample of cisgender (non-transgender) people are needed as a control/comparison group. The purpose of this research project is to gather personal experiences for a psychology class paper on the relationships between gender identity, expression, and dysphoria. The results of this study may be published online. Completing this survey will take approximately 30 minutes. Your responses will be anonymous and confidential. The survey will not collect any identifying information such as your name, email address or IP address. Therefore your personal information will not be linked with the data collected and the survey will not contain information that would be able to personally identify you. Your participation in this research study is 100% voluntary and you may choose to exit out and stop participating at any point. There will be no penalization if you do not participate. You aren't required to answer any questions, and you may skip any that you are uncomfortable with and move on to the next one. You must be 18 or older to participate in this survey. That's because I'm doing this as part of my college and anonymous surveys can be exempted from IRB review only if all of the participants are over 18. Participants will not be compensated. The probability and magnitude of harm or discomfort anticipated in the research are not greater in and of themselves than those ordinarily encountered in daily life or during the performance of routine physical or psychological examinations or tests.
