Dunno how ethically made my fabric is, but in an attempt to defeat both fast fashion and the fact nowhere caters to my body shape, I’m finally trying to make some clothes. First stop: pattern drafting.
(kind of. It’s been nearly a decade)

@chell I need to do this too. I wish you luck. I've got some ideas that I need to get down on proper sized paper. But I think I can do it.

@JigmeDatse thank you! good luck to you too! I’m so glad that blogs and youtube are at the point they are now, there’s a step by step tutorial for everything these days.

I think the easiest thing is to just start, and try. I’ve been putting this off for ages but got so much done once i started. Also, my safety net is that if you make all your measurements bigger than you need, a lot of simple garments are easy to take in by just sewing over it again!

@chell My safety net right now is that I have enough fabric that for the one highest priority project, if I don't get it working until the third pair of leggings, that I'll still have enough to make it worthwhile.

@JigmeDatse ah yeah! if you can do that, that’s really good too. it’s hard for me to buy fabric where I live, so that’s why i’ve been stalling so much. when I was younger I remember being a lot more “risky” because there was always more fabric 😂
