also I spent 2 hours this morning watching annika victoria’s sewing videos and upcycled an old, stretched-out t-shirt 👌🏽 happy I gave it a second life rather than just recycling it like I was going to.
zips acquired!!
Might go out today to buy some zips (I’ve been fighting against adding fasteners to the clothes I’m making, because I remember zips being annoyingly fiddly to install) but it’s over an hour to the fabric market 😭
Maybe I’ll buy a few metres of lace, too, and upcycle some blouses? 🤷🏻♀️
This has aged very poorly
first toot! I’m still not quite sure what i’m doing, so forgive me if I mess up. bit nervous. not even sure if i’m in the right place, tbh

- I’m from the UK
- I live in South Korea (for now)
- I like #drawing and #photography
- trying to make little changes in my daily life to reduce my impact on the environment (a bit of a challenge in SK)
Veganism is good and all but like, I'm afraid that common vegan ingredients like soy might have a really big carbon footprint/irrigation demand compared to locally sourced dairy milk or eggs and I'm not sure which is the more ethical choice tbh, which is why I just stay vegetarian
