Chocolate should not be a cheap everyday commodity. It should be a rare, occasional treat. And it should be expensive.
The only reason chocolate is cheap is due to exploitation of farmers and workers who've never even tasted the chocolate their work is vital to.
I'd rather pay more or simply miss out than continue to support modern day slavery.
FYI, if you like chocolate and don't like slavery, there are a bunch of companies committed to improving the whole industry to make it more transparent and get rid of exploitation. And I can almost guarantee the chocolate they produce will taste better too.

@InvaderXan I tried Tony's Chocolonely when I visited the Netherlands once, and it was the best chocolate I've ever had. Ended up eating it all the time during the stay. At the time it wasn't available here in Oslo yet, but I checked their site again now, and some stores have started carrying it.
@bjoernstaerk I still haven't had a chance to try any. I really should fix that sometime. I watched an interview with him in a documentary about all of this once and he also seems like a decent guy.
@InvaderXan that's very cool, I don't get how slave-free anything can be made with dairy though.
