The oldest seed ever germinated was a 2000 year old Judean date palm seed, found in an archaeological site near the Dead Sea. These trees were previously extinct since the 6th century, but this one, named Methusalah (obvs), is still thriving as far as I know!

The tree, Methuselah, now over 3 metres tall and growing in a small enclosure with a plaque explaining its unusual history. It's a very bushy tree with wide sprawling branches, and not much of a trunk.
